KASIER PLUS TESTS

The KAISER King Pin Test Machine compared OE straight, cylindrical king pins with the curvilinear concept as illustrated by "Wear" and "Temperature" gauges.
The example curves on the right depict a definite initial wear-in resulting in rapid wear and rapid increase in operating temperature for the straight pin, but negligible wear-in for the curvilinear pin. The example curves also depict through the wear life of the bushing and king pin a significant reduction in total wear and operating temperature.
The tests conducted using OE steel backed bronze and OE plastic composites proved in all cases not only that the curvilinear concept results in a 50% reduction in wear, but also results in a 33% decrease in operating temperature, proving the Kaiser PLUS superiority

EASE OF INSTALLATION

After tear down, clean up all bores and inspect. Rework axle and or spindle bores as needed. Start bushings in the bore by hand and complete the assembly with a bushing driver. Line reaming of bushings is not required in most installations.Raise spindle to the axle and assemble curvilinear king pin. Use accepted repair procedures to complete the assembly.
The assembly should have a smooth side-to-side action before greasing. The curvilinear configuration provides clearance for 10% more grease. With normal maintenance users may expect 50% more wear life from Kaiser PLUS.
